Garden railroading is truly a family hobby. It offers something for everyone; whether it is collecting trains, running trains, gardening, model building, water gardening, rock gardening, electronics, miniatures, and so on. It is rare that any one person would have the knowledge and skill in all these areas. This is where the society really shines. Within the membership you will find people skilled in many of these areas and more.

Most of our monthly meetings are actually open-house, train-running events where members gather to run trains, exchange ideas and socialize with each other.
