Some members just enjoy visiting railroads. You don’t have to have a railroad to join us. You do have to be a member to enjoy our open railroad weekends April to October each year. We have railroads in 10 Bay Area counties.

GR News, aka Garden Railroading News, is a FREE bi-monthly digital magazine, produced by Garden Railroaders for Garden Railroaders.
It features select garden railroads, how-to articles, planting tips, new product news and informative ads from many suppliers of garden railroading equipment and accessories.
The Bay Area Garden Railway Society helped to found GR News 4 years ago and continues to play a major role in its production. We provide a link to each issue to our members.
